Today we went to Redwood Park near our home to escape our shaded dwelling and get some sun. When we got there, there were some people at the parking lot returning from a hike. They were apparently part of a hiking tour that included llamas, which they used to carry their gear. They (the people) were very friendly and answered our questions, like, “Is that a llama?” and “What do they eat?” The llamas themselves were very tame and fun to look at, kind of like a cross between a horse and a sheep. Kota seemed curious and appeared to enjoy it.
